Family Literacy Night is Thursday, September 24th from 5:00-6:30pm

Step into your child's shoes and experience literacy learning firsthand. Join us as we walk families through key components of daily literacy instruction and provide fun, hands-on activities that support reading success at hope.

5:00-5:30 --> Families will participate in a model literacy lesson featuring: 3-Part Drill, Skills Lesson, Dictation Activity, and Knowledge Building Activity.

5:30-6:30 --> Enjoy engaging literacy experiences designed for students and families to explore together.

Acompáñenos mientras guiamos a las familias a través de los componentes clave de la enseñanza diaria de la lectoescritura y ofrecemos actividades prácticas y divertidas que fomentan el éxito en la lectura desde casa.

5:00 - 5:30 --> Las familias participarán en una lección modelo de lectoescritura que incluye: ejercicio de tres partes, lección de habilidades, actividad de dictado y actividad de construcción de conocimientos.

5:30 - 6:30 --> Disfrute de experiencias de lectoescritura dinámicas, diseñadas para que estudiantes y familias las exploren juntos.

Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week - September 14th - 18th.

Monday (9/14) -- Flag Day! - Wear your country's traditional clothing or flag colors. Tuesday (9/15) -- Futbol vs. Football! Wear your favorite Futbol or Football jersey. Wednesday (9/16) -- Hispanic Inspiration Day! Dress up as a Hispanic hero, role model, or childhood character. Thursday (9/17) -- Quinceanera Day! (Sweet 15) Dress up in your best formal wear. Friday (9/18) -- Vaquero Day! Dress up in your Western clothes. Don't forget your boots and hat!

Lunes (14/9) — ¡Día de la Bandera! — Vistete de ropa tradicional o los colores de la bandera de tu pais. Martes (15/9) — ¡Fútbol vs. Fútbol Americano! — Ponte tu camiseta favorita de fútbol o fútbol americano. Miércoles (16/9) — ¡Día de la Inspiración Hispana! — Vistete como un heroe, artista o personaje de la infancia hispano. Jueves (17/9) — ¡Día de Quinceañera! — Viste con tu ropa mas elegante. Viernes (18/9) — ¡Día del Vaquero! — Vistete con tu ropa vaquera. ¡No olvides las botas y el sombrero!
