It is an honor and blessing to be the Principal where we are truly a family of excellence and expect the best each day. Our school's theme is Loving, Learning, and Leading! We don't take it for granted that we are chosen to be an integral part of every child's life and educational journey from Kindergarten to 1st grade and then to 2nd grade. We invest knowledge in our students' lives academically, socially, and physically.

I began my education career journey as a math and reading teacher in Gulfport, MS, and then I taught, coached, and was an Assistant Principal at Itawamba AHS and Itawamba Middle School in Fulton, MS which is my hometown. I've been the Principal of Southaven Intermediate, and an Assistant Principal at Horn Lake Intermediate Schools. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Delta State University, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi.

I am married to my lovely wife, Jacqueline, and we are blessed with four wonderful children, Galvin, Kenny, Jeremy, and Ashlee. We are also blessed with seven grandchildren. I love helping people realize their potential and encouraging them to reach that potential in life. I often say that I come each day to my purpose not just a job. I love reading, exercising, and being involved in the community.
